That was my first and last time shooting the whole concert with Canon’s 50mm prime. When you’re close to the stage, you can make only 1/2-portraits of the musicians (the angle is not wide enough). When you’re 2-3 steps away from the stage, the picture is filled up with heads, hands, and legs of fans. 50mm will help you in a very low lighting (depending on the situation), but can hardly be your general purpose lens for shooting concerts.

My photos were used in the design of J:MORS official site

Suddenly I know my photogaphs from “Navalniza” fireworks festival were widely used in the design of J:MORS official site. I wouldn’t say I’m too offended - it’s not the first time, when my concert photos are used without even leaving a link to my site or my e-mail (not talking about a fee). Moreover, I really like this band. But guys, for the future, please let me know at least ;)

##### (5diez, fivediez) is a Belarusian alternative band formed in 2001. Their music is a mixture of rapcore, nu-metal, hip-hop, industrial, post punk and metal. The native city of ##### is Vitebsk, Belarus, but they moved to Moscow, Russian Federation later.
